It might sound like pie in the sky, but Japan's government is banking on a future with flying cars, launching an initiative yesterday with the private sector to develop futuristic vehicles.

The initiative aims to draw up a road map by the end of the year on commercialising flying cars, a concept that so far remains largely theoretical. Japanese government officials are partnering top companies including Boeing and Airbus, as well as major Japanese firms like All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, NEC and the Toyota-backed Cartivator.

"(Flying cars) are expected to solve issues of transportation in remote islands or mountainous areas, or rescue operations and goods transport in disaster," trade ministry official Shinji Tokumasu said.

"We launched the public-private meeting to cultivate a new industry and make it profitable in the world market."

In Japan, engineers working with the Cartivator project are already developing a three-wheeled car that relies on drone technology to take flight.

Toyota and affiliated companies have invested about 42.5 million yen (S$522,000) in the project.

मेरे दो लड़के 42 तथा 40 वर्ष के है। बड़ा वाला Corporate World में है तथा छोटा वाला आर्मी में Full Colonel है। इन दोनों ने आपके स्कूल में 1980 में पढ़ाई शुरू की थी। तब Montessori System था। तब से अब तक बहुत बड़ा परिवर्तन हो चुका है। मुझे आप सब में Confident , Energetic , Self Assured तथा full of जोश बच्चे नजर आ रहे है। आपका स्कूल एक अव्वल दर्जे का Institution है।

मैंने America , Europe, Japan , कुछ African Countries , South East Asia तथा भारत वर्ष के neighbouring देशों का भ्रमण किया है। जैसा कि हम सब जानते है, Western World तथा Japan की Population decline पर है। उनके business एवं आवश्यक servises के लिए उन्हें manpower की आवश्यकता होगी , हालांकि President Trump ने कुछ Restrictions लगाए है , लेकिन वह temporary है। हम आज इस दुनिया के population के मामले में One Sixth है। China और हम मिलकर One Third है। हमारा IT में दर्जा बहुत ऊंचा है तथा हम English Speaking भी है। Migration from populated countries to sparsely populated nations एक natural phenomenon है। इसलिए मेरी आप सब से तथा आप के parents से प्रार्थना है की अपने बच्चो को पढ़ने की तथा English speaking की Opportunities दें तथा तैयारी करवाएं। Migration से घबराए नहीं। अपने बच्चो को पंख दे व उन्हें उड़ने का मौका दे। Think big look beyod the horizon and let your imagination run. अंग्रेजी में कहावत है। Old order changeth yielding place to new, lest one good custom should corrupt this world” इसका मतलब यह है की नवीनीकरण या New Frontier New Horizon एक वास्तविकता है। न केवल हमे समय के साथ रहना चाहिए हमे समय के आगे चलने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।

Sanskrit का एक श्लोक है - "काग चेष्टा ,वको ध्यानम, श्वान निंद्रा तथैव च ,अल्प हरी गृहत्यागी , विद्यार्थीय पांच लक्षणम " एक विद्यार्थी में कौए की तरह चेष्टा होनी चाहिए, एक बगुले की तरह ध्यान रखने की क्षमता होना चाहिए , कुत्ते की तरह नींद होना चाहिए एवं अल्पहारी यानि कम खाने वाला होना चाहिए। इसके अलावा गृह त्यागी यानि घर से बहार व् दूर जाकर पढ़ने के लिए तैयार रहना चाहिए। यह एक विद्यार्थी के पांच लक्षण होना चहिये। मैं सलाह देना चाहता हूँ की parents बच्चो को opportunities दे। Social media आज एक वास्तविकता है लेकिन इसकी वजह से अवरोध पैदा होता है। अफवाहें व् गलत information व् सन्देश फैलते है. आप इसके अधीन न बने.

मेजर Doctor सुरंगे जो हमारे स्कूल के स्टूडेंट्स है, उनको बहुत बधाई। Medical field में, वे तरक्की की दिशा में अग्रसर हों.

अंत में आप सब के लिए God speed and good wishes की प्रार्थना करना चाहता हूँ. आप फलें फूलें, खुश रहें, स्वस्थ रहें तथा तरक्की की ओर आसमान झूलें। इसके साथ ही में राजमाता साहब को एक दफा और धन्यबाद देना चाहता हूँ व प्रार्थना करता हूँ की आपका प्रयास बच्चों को सफलता की ओर ले जाए व बच्चे successful हों।
