From The Editor's Pen
"Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those who don't rest on the laurel's of the past".
WE live today in a rapid changing world at a accelerated rate. Today's education is so different from the one we were educated in. So we, as educators, need to prepare our children to face the challenges that the future holds. It's true that children must be taught how to think not what to think. And for this, we, the teachers have to motivate them for getting knowledge, imagination and innovation by implementing in them the urge to learn through the curriculum. We need to motivate the weak, to address the average and challenge the gifted and prepare the children to face life's ordeals. Even as our teaching must impact education to match the advancement in technology and globalization with the ethos of moral values and principles. We endeavored constantly to instill these qualities in our children and pride ourselves to help them grow and development sensitive and responsible citizens of the next generation. As "Educating the mind without the heart is no education at all".
So the AMI Chronicles marks our growth, unfolds our imagination and aspirations and gives life to out thoughts and aspirations. It unleashes a wide spectrum of creative skills ranging from writing to editing.

Education is a personality building process. It has always been linked with society. It has both a personal and social dimension and like the two sides of the same coin, these are inseparable.
The real education does not consist in packing the brain with information but by developing the right character. Education without character is like a ship without a captain. Values go a long way in building a person’s character. Qualifications and skills are essential in the success of an individual but without values he is incomplete as a person. Education teaches knowledge but life requires wisdom. One helps you making a living, the other helps you making a life.
At present, our younger generation is just being prepared by developing their cognitive domains. Today what is being done is to educate the heads and hands and not the hearts. Mere teaching, learning, improving knowledge and skills without building character and mind may not contribute to the holistic development of children, which is a must for the world to become a better place. Lack of value education has been an important factor in the global scenario of growing violence and terrorism and ecological imbalances. Values are virtues that are imbibed by the children by their surroundings, the environment in which they are brought up, in which they live. The people around them play a vital role in leaving an impression on the tender minds of these young individuals. The need of the hour is to impart value based education. The stress should be on the values such as patience, honesty, tolerance, sympathy and love. The youngsters need not only to be taught how to develop their skills talents and abilities, they must also be taught how to use these skills for the welfare and betterment of all. Once values become one’s priority in life, all the negative aspects of life will automatically dwindle. The world direly needs people with high value to make it a better place to live in.

A Teacher For Me..................
A TEACHER FOR ME
Role of a teacher in my life is a crucial part because she not only taught me lesson from books but lessons for life too. In our life we all have teachers that affected our lives for making us strong to face the worldly challenges. The way teacher made interaction with us from the very first day of school it will be there in our mind forever. Whether the teacher is strict or a friendly one every teacher leaves a thoughtful impression and helps us as a guide. Being a teacher is the toughest task because teacher is the only one after parents who can knowable a child’s talent and skills and makes him a young positive youth for future generation and she really does her work calmly and patiently. Teacher has loads of pressure in dealing with students. As there are some studiers some mischievous and some average students are there but they never different in between them. They always treat them equally. Sometimes we as students made mistakes regarding teachers but guys I want to tell you that very wrong. Teachers gives you full time to make each students a noble human & its our responsibility to make them prove. When they leave you, you will realize their value in your life and remember them with a smile if someone in your family is a teacher then you should have proud said this because they are the one & only who can make a nation a better nation by shaping the future of children.

How To Make Most Out Of Summer Vacation
To help you make the most of it, I'd like to suggest a few ideas for possible summer activities. Different types of students will be drawn to different types of things, and that's all well and good. It is important to choose the right activity according to your interest, rather than following your friends or classmate to a summer camp where you have nothing interesting for you. You can choose from a wide range of opportunities, few of those are :
Get Job : A Summer job also provides you professional work skills along with a source of some quick bucks.
Take up a Hobby : First of all choose your hobby well. Let it be something you've been dying to do all you life. First of all, remember to list all the things you've wanted to do. This way you can spend the right time doing right thing. Learn a new skill during your vacation. It could be a short typing course, any crash course on enhancing communication skills.
Things to Avoid: There are a set of few things that you strictly need to avoid during your summer vacations. Act on time so that you make most of your time. However you strictly need to avoid few things -
Don't stay indoors. Go outside and get some exercise.
Don't get into plants you don't know.
Don't waste a lot of your time in sleeping.

Success
Success is a Vehicle which Moves on the Wheels of Hard Work and Self Confident is the Fuel Required for the Mobility of the Vehicle.
Each successful man in the history had faced failure and Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was one of them who had faced failures as a scientist and thus Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam claimed that the confidence and hard work is the best medicine to kill the disease called failure as he was able to earn the title of missile man as a successful scientist.
Eighteen points plan to achieve success for students -
1. They move on. They don’t waste time feeling sorry for themselves.
2. They keep control. They don’t give away their power.
3. They embrace change. They welcome challenges.
4. They stay happy. They don’t complain. They don’t waste energy on things they can’t control.
5. They are kind, fair, and unafraid to speak up. They don’t worry about pleasing other people.
6. They are willing to take calculated risks. They weigh the risks and benefits before taking action.
7. They invest their energy in the present. They don’t dwell on the past.
8. They accept full responsibility for their past behavior. They don’t make the same mistake over and over.
9. They celebrate other people’s success. They don’t resent that success. They also celebrate their own success.
10. They are willing to fail. They don’t give up after failing. They see every failure as a chance to improve.
11. They enjoy their time alone. They don’t fear being alone.
12. They are prepared to work and succeed on their own merits. They don’t feel the world owes them anything.
13. They have staying power. They don’t expect immediate results.
14. They evaluate their core beliefs — and modify as needed.
15. They expend their mental energy wisely. They don’t spend time on unproductive thoughts.
16. They think productively. They replace negative thoughts with productive thoughts.
17. They tolerate discomfort. They accept their feelings without being controlled by them.
18. They reflect on their progress every day. They take time to consider what they’ve achieved and where they are going.
So 5 daily reminders to achieve success are
1) I am Amazing.
2) I am happy.
3) I can do anything.
(4) I am prepared to succeed.
5) I celebrate my individuality.
I would like to quote Colin Powell, “Success is the result of Perfection, Hard work, Learning from failure, Loyalty and Persistence.”
It is never wise and advice able to give up your ambitions if you students face failures but use your failures as stepping stone to gain success. Your faith, belief, strong mindset and patience are the biggest tools to help you to achieve the real success. Avoid yelling, complaining, arguing, blaming, interrupting and speaking lie as they are the biggest obstacles in life to achieve success.
