A New Chapter. A Continuing Legacy.
It is with immense gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility that I welcome you to A.M.I. Shishu Mandir.
To take on the responsibility of leading an institution with a legacy dating back to 1945 is a privilege that I cherish and look forward to. Over the decades, AMI has built its identity around a simple yet powerful belief: that education must prepare a child not merely for examinations, but for life.
The vision of our founder, Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia, was rooted in creating an environment where children could discover and develop their potential. That vision continues to resonate deeply with the philosophy of AMI today.
At the heart of our educational approach is the belief that every child is unique. Intelligence takes many forms and talents reveal themselves in different ways. Every child is unique and special, has a distinct voice and a different journey. Our role as educators is to recognise these differences, nurture them and provide them the opportunities to flourish.
I believe that the best schools are those where children are encouraged to ask questions rather than simply seek answers; where learning extends beyond the classroom; where academic excellence goes hand in hand with empathy, creativity, discipline and integrity; and where children learn not only to succeed, but also to contribute.
As we move forward, my endeavour will be to strengthen a culture of curiosity, creativity and character. I would like every child who walks through the gates of AMI to feel valued, heard and inspired—to develop the courage to think independently, and to have the compassion to understand and respect others.
Our world is changing rapidly. Technology, artificial intelligence and new ways of learning are transforming the possibilities before us. Yet, even as we embrace these changes, some things must remain constant: values, relationships, and the joy of learning.
I see education as a partnership. Teachers, parents and the school must work together to create the conditions in which children can thrive. I look forward to listening, learning and collaborating with the AMI community, while building on the good work of those who have served this institution before us.
There is much to look forward to.
A new chapter begins, but the story continues—a story built over generations by the children who studied here, the teachers who guided them and the families who entrusted us with their most precious responsibility.
My hope is that together we will carry this legacy forward purpose, while preparing our children to become thoughtful, confident and compassionate citizens of tomorrow.
I look forward to this journey with great optimism, and continued support from the AMI community.
Warm regards,
